Course overview

Qualified tradespeople may apply for a restricted Electrical Licence, which requires skill sets including: composite equipment, instrumentation/process control, plumbing and gas, electric motors, electronics and refrigeration, and air-conditioning.

The number of competencies required depends on your existing electrical work training permit. Restricted Electrical Work Licences do not authorise the holder to carry out installation work. You will receive a Statement of Attainment, but not the full Certificate III in Appliance Service qualification.
