There are no formal entry requirements for this course.
Selection criteria
Whilst there are no formal entry requirements for this course TAFE Queensland recommends students possess basic literacy and numeracy skills.
Resources Required
It is a requirement that students purchase long pants (preferably chef pants), a cap, collared shirt and closed in shoes. All other required resources for the course are supplied by TAFE Queensland.
Placement
There is no vocational placement arrangement in place for this program however if TAFE Queensland can match you to an employer we will do so either in a work experience role or for an apprenticeship.

Replacement qualification
This qualification has been replaced by FBP20221 - Certificate II in Baking, as of 8 September 2021. A transition period applies to enable current students to complete their study. The transition period finishes on 7 September 2022. If required, enrolments will be transitioned into the replacement qualification.
