10291NAT Certificate II in Skills for Education, Training and Employment Pathways
Progress and refine your communication, language, literacy and numeracy skills, and gain increased confidence to enter the workforce or undertake further study.
Within Australia, many people do not possess the literacy and numeracy skills needed to participate fully in modern life and work. Facilitated by expert teaching staff that understand that each learner is different, you will be provided with the support and guidance you need to complete your studies. You will further develop your established communication and numeracy skills.
Take your pick from a range of electives, including word processing, spreadsheet development, work health and safety, mathematics and use of digital technology.
Upon successful completion of this course you will have developed reading, writing, numeracy, oral communication and learning skills at Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF) Level 3.
At TAFE Queensland we believe in providing quality pathways to further education opportunities. Our highly-experienced team of professionals will work with you to develop a vocational training and plan unique to you.
At TAFE Queensland we provide training to people who are under-utilised in the labour market, by building the skills of young people, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people with disability, mature-age job seekers, women re-entering the workforce, and people from culturally and linguistically diverse background.

Studying on campus is a great way to enjoy the benefits of face-to-face education in a way that is far removed from a typical school. No matter which campus you choose, you know that you will be learning in an adult environment where you will be respected and nurtured. Attend a campus to learn face-to-face with a teacher in one of our learning spaces; such as a classroom, workshop, laboratory or simulated environments, or interact with teachers using real-time video or web conference tools.
