There are no formal entry requirements for this course.

Selection criteria

This is an intermediate level workshop and as such, it is expected that you will have basic computing and Microsoft Word knowledge.

It is also recommended that you have:-

  • sound literacy and numeracy skills; and
  • completed Year 10 or are 16 years of age or older

Resources required

You will require personal stationery (pen and paper), a USB and a valid email address.

This course is based on Windows and Microsoft Office software. This software is available for you to use on TAFE Queensland campuses. You may wish to bring your own laptops. If you have a later version of Microsoft Office you will need to make adjustments for any differences.  If you elect to use Apple software, you will need to accommodate for the inherent differences between the operation and tasks of this software and Microsoft, this is not covered in this workshop.

Important information

If you are attending Southport campus you need to present your Confirmation of Enrolment to the car park attendant each week to be eligible for discounted parking.

Please note: Course commencement is subject to minimum enrolment numbers. TAFE Queensland can also offer this course to business/corporate clients in the workplace or at TAFE if required (subject to minimum numbers). Please enquire to discuss how we can assist your organisation.
