Course overview

Course overview

This intermediate course is ideal for people with a small amount of sewing experience and is a continuation on from the Beginners Sewing short course.

You will learn professional sewing techniques for industrial and domestic machines. Sewing construction samples will be created during class, to organise in your own reference folder. These samples include, but are not limited to, bias binding; pockets, faced waistline; sleeves and collars. You will apply some of these techniques to produce at least one garment, possibly more depending on the level of complexity and your developing skills.

Sewing machines and overlockers are supplied. It may be helpful to have your own machine to practice with and complete some work at home.
