Study English at TAFE Queensland
Our comprehensive English language courses will give you the skills you need to study in Australia. Successful completion of our English courses such as English for Academic Purposes (EAP), IELTS Preparation, Cambridge FCE preparation and Cambridge CAE preparation will give you a direct entry into a course of your choice at TAFE Queensland.

Completing your English studies at one of our partner English language providers gives you access to a direct entry pathway into your preferred TAFE Queensland course.

Degree pathways
TAFE Queensland has over 300 further education pathways available through our partnerships with some of Australia's leading universities and institutes of higher education. Our degree pathways will give you the best of both worlds, combining practical training from TAFE Queensland with the theoretical knowledge from your higher education degree.
Credits towards a degree
Your TAFE Queensland qualification will count as credit towards your degree, saving you time and money. In most cases, a diploma will count as one year towards a related degree*. Graduate ahead of the pack with academic knowledge backed up by real-world skills.
*please confirm with the institution as they may have additional entry requirements for your chosen degree, they will also be able to confirm your credit transfer eligibility.
Start working and earning sooner
After you graduate from your diploma, you can start working in the industry and putting all your knowledge into action, while you are studying your degree.
