TAFE Queensland’s Academy of Sport offers a range of nationally recognised courses designed to help you turn your passion for sport into a career. Delivered in partnership with peak sporting organisations and professional clubs across Queensland, and interstate, these programs give students the chance to gain practical skills, industry knowledge, and real-world experience to prepare for a career in the sports industry.
Most training is delivered on-site with our industry partners, giving students access to specialist facilities, leading practitioners, and a unique blend of classroom learning and hands-on practical training.
Embedded in industry practice, students experience first-hand what it’s like to work in a professional sporting environment—developing the skills, confidence, and networks needed to succeed. Programs are currently offered across Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Ipswich and Logan within Queensland, as well as various locations within New South Wales, with new opportunities emerging through partnerships with schools and sporting organisations statewide.
