Academy of Sport | Gold Coast Information Sessions

Join TAFE Queensland’s Academy of Sport Information Session hosted by the Gold Coast SUNS.

For Year 10 and 11 students: Explore our two TAFE at Schools programs and study the Certificate II in Sport Coaching (SIS20321) over one year, or the dual qualification, Certificate II in Sport Coaching / Certificate III in Sport Coaching (SIS20321 / SIS30521) over two years, in partnership with the Gold Coast Suns, Football Queensland, Queensland Rugby Union, Brisbane Bullets, and Gold Coast Basketball Association. TAFE at School commences in February 2026.

Gold Coast College of Sport and Business Online Professional Development Program: In partnership with the Gold Coast SUNS and TAFE Queensland, this program offers aspiring leaders the opportunity to complete the Diploma of Leadership and Management (BSB50420) through a flexible online format. The course combines online learning with three Saturday intensives at the Austworld Centre, ensuring students benefit from both academic excellence and real-world insights from elite sport. Delivered two nights per week (6–9 pm) over six months, the course commences in early October 2025.
