Academy of Sport | Information Sessions

Join TAFE Queensland’s Academy of Sport Information Session.

For Year 10 and 11 students: Explore our two TAFE at Schools programs and study the Certificate II in Sport Coaching (SIS20321) over one year, or the dual qualification, Certificate II in Sport Coaching / Certificate III in Sport Coaching (SIS20321/SIS30521) over two years.

For diploma courses:  Upskill your career with Queensland's largest sporting associations in the lead up to Brisbane 2032. Undertake study in the Diploma of Sport (Coaching) (SIS50321) or the Diploma of Event Management (SIT50322) contextualised to sporting event delivery in partnership with Football Queensland, Queensland Rugby Union, Tennis Queensland, Gymnastics Queensland and many others. 

For virtual school: The Academy of Sport's virtual school is an innovative education model designed to give students across Australia access to elite sport‑aligned learning, no matter where they live. Delivered by TAFE Queensland’s Academy of Sport, the program blends accelerated online diplomas with exclusive industry experiences provided by some of the nation’s most recognisable sporting organisations.

All programs start in January 2026.
