Course overview

Complete this course as part of your apprenticeship to become a trade-qualified roof plumber. According to the Australian Government's Job Outlook service, plumbing is a skill in demand with employers finding it hard to fill vacancies. The industry grew strongly over the past five years and is expected to continue to expand with around 29,000 job openings anticipated over the next five years.

In this course you will consolidate your skills in installation of roof sheeting, wall cladding, non-metallic roof materials and insulation for a roof. You will learn how to install fascias, gutters, downpipes, valley gutters, ridge capping, flashings and wall cladding. Our industry-qualified, expert teachers will ensure you can carry out these tasks to the high standards demanded in the industry.

Successful completion of this apprenticeship course will allow you to apply to become a qualified roof plumber and continue to progress your career in the construction industry.
