Kick start your career with this entry-level course. Develop the skills and knowledge to become a Computer Aided Drawing (CAD) drafting/technical assistant or operator.

You will learn how to create and modify CAD drawings in 2D and 3D formats. Selection criteria

A sound achievement in Year 10 English and Maths or equivalent is recommended.

Important information

When studying Online it is strongly recommended students follow the order of study and enrol into one unit at a time, unless otherwise advised.

 

To be eligible to access Free TAFE for under 25s training, you must:

  • be aged under 25 years at the point of enrolment and not in school
  • permanently reside in Queensland
  • be an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident (includes humanitarian entrant), temporary resident with the necessary visa and work permits on the pathway to permanent residency, or a New Zealand citizen
  • must not hold, and not be enrolled in, a certificate III or higher-level qualification, not including qualifications completed at school and foundation skills training.
