Wi-Fi Calling (VoWiFi) - Emergency Services Disclaimer:
Accessing emergency services (e.g. Calling Triple Zero – 000) via devices connected to TAFE Queensland’s guest Wi-Fi network (TQGuest) may be unreliable or unavailable. These networks are provided as a convenience for general internet access and are not designed to support emergency communications.
Please note:
- Guest Wi-Fi networks do not guarantee uninterrupted connectivity, location accuracy, or priority routing required for emergency calls.
- Devices connected via guest Wi-Fi may not transmit accurate location data to emergency responders, which is critical in time-sensitive situations.
- TAFE Queensland disclaim liability for any failure to connect to emergency services via guest Wi-Fi.
- Users are advised to use a mobile network (cellular service) or a landline phone to contact emergency services whenever possible.
- In case of emergency while on campus, immediately dial 000 using a mobile phone or a landline phone where accessible.
- By using guest Wi-Fi, you acknowledge and accept these limitations.
