You should plan to submit your international student application well in advance of the application close date. Applications received after the application close date may be offered a deferral to the next available intake.

There are two different types of international students:

  • An onshore student is currently living in Australia with a current visa
  • An offshore student is currently living outside of Australia and does not hold a visa.

Whether you are an onshore or an offshore students effects your application close dates. 

Semester 1 intake

ONSHORE APPLICATIONS

OFFSHORE APPLICATIONS

TAFE Queensland English Language Program only 

Application received a minimum five weeks prior to start of study to allow time for enrolment and visa processing.

Your offer letter will have an acceptance expiry date stated on it. This is the last date you can return your signed acceptance of offer, make payment, and meet any other conditions as stated on your offer letter.
