Flexibility

Gone are the days when your apprentice/trainee had to be away from the job for extensive training periods. Our flexible training options include in the workplace, online, and in the classroom at one of our 50+ Queensland locations. We can even build a customised training plan to suit you and your business.

Workplace - Your apprentice/trainee can be trained and assessed on the job by our workplace training officers. This ensures minimal disruption to your workplace and maximum convenience for both you and your apprentice/trainee. 

Drop in days -  Apprentices and trainees can drop in to train with a teacher at a TAFE Queensland campus with little or no notice. This flexible training option is perfect for downtime or rainy days. 

Block training - Training is delivered to apprentices/trainees in study blocks of one to six weeks at one of our state-of-the-art training facilities. This training option gives your apprentice/trainee the time and space to focus on their training away from the workplace environment. 

Mobile van - Don't have the time to get to a TAFE Queensland campus? We understand that running your own business can be demanding, that's why can can bring our tools and equipment to you in our mobile training van.

Day release - Training is scheduled one day a week at one of TAFE Queensland’s training facilities. This allows your apprentice/trainee to keep working and putting their skills into practice while they complete their formal training. 

Mixed mode - Combine on-campus learning with online elements, some blocks, some day release, or anything in between to create a training plan that works around you and your unique business needs. 

Industry experts

Our teachers are fully qualified with years of hands-on experience and practical knowledge. They're also passionate about passing on their hard-earning knowledge to your apprentice/trainee. With training developed in consultation with industry you can be confident our apprentices and trainees have the skills you're looking for.
