TAFE Queensland offers a comprehensive range of automotive courses covering everything from bicycles, motorcycles, and light vehicles to forklifts, trailers, and heavy commercial vehicles. With more than $90 million invested in our automotive training facilities, we are well-equipped to deliver job-ready training to the auto technicians of the future.

Our automotive training facilities include engine and chassis dynos, state-of-the-art wheel alignment and brake testing stations, and specialised training rooms for diesel fuel, auto electrical, and air-conditioning. We also have new truck and car donations from Iveco, Mack, Kenworth, Komatsu, Toyota, Nissan, Chrysler and Holden.

Our automotive courses include specialisations in cylinder head reconditioning, mechanical diagnosis, engine reconditioning, LPG installation, mechanical overhauling, servicing, underbody, electrical, air conditioning, diesel engines, tyre servicing, diesel fuel, drivetrain, or steering and suspension.

Study automotive at TAFE Queensland

Daniel has had an interest in cars since he was a kid. He chose to come from Korea to study at TAFE Queensland to get practical, real world skills to launch his automotive career. He loves the wonderful weather in Brisbane and spends his spare time playing soccer with friends he’s made from around the world.
