Bowen is situated in the northern region of the Whitsunday Coast, halfway between the regional centres of Mackay and Townsville. Its community of just over 10,000 enjoys a warm climate, palm fringed beaches, and beautiful secluded bays. Our Bowen campus is located on the outskirts of the town on Queens Road, just a five minute drive from the town centre.
Our Bowen campus offers a range of practical courses catering to the local community with study areas including aged care, automotive, community services, early childhood education and care, engineering, and general education and training.
Our automotive and engineering students learn hands on in our fully equipped automotive and engineering training workshop. Learn on the same equipment and tools used in industry with access to engines, hydraulic pumps, metals and synthetic metals, starter motors, turbos, and well as Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG), Metal Inert Gas (MIG) and arc welders.
