Take control of your career with this high-level course. The individual responsible for ensuring the monitoring of all related projects is a program manager. This course will help to develop your natural program management style and will provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to succeed. This course contains skills that are relevant to monitor related projects in order to achieve overarching business outcomes within a large range of industries, including construction, software development, and healthcare. All of these industries have projects that require program managers to coordinate at a higher level than the project manager, and with booming growth in these sectors, this course has viable job outcomes for the future.

You will develop the advanced skills required to direct, plan and lead a range of program functions, with accountability for personal and team outcomes. Our industry-experienced, expert teachers and supportive learning environment will help you develop a deeper understanding of the nature of program management methodology, and provide you with the ability to adapt to different working environments.

Selection criteria

Entry into the accelerated program is via an application process and it recommended that you have at least 5 years' experience working in the areas of business or project management, and have an understanding of issues relevant to medium to large organisations.

Assessment Methods

You may be assessed in a number of ways while you are studying at TAFE Queensland, including observation, written assessment, questioning, portfolios, work samples, third-party feedback, and through recognition of prior learning.
