From planning concepts to producing events. Hospitality and event management students teamed up to produce the 2019 Mudgeeraba Show Ball by applying their practical skills and knowledge. The result was an extremely successful and spectacular event.
Our fully operational hairdressing and beauty salon, Style Academy, offers a range of quality services at great value prices. The salon is staffed by our hairdressing and beauty students who are supervised by fully-qualified teachers at all times. We use the same products, equipment, and facilities found in a real salon and work with real, paying clients. The Hospitality Hub is a contemporary styled training restaurant which is open to the public. The menu changes daily with food prepared by cookery students and table service provided by hospitality students training in front-of-house operations. Our training restaurant allows our hospitality students to gain hands-on experience in a real-world environment. You will learn the workings of a real restaurant in state-of-the-art facilities under the guidance of industry-experienced teachers. Learn more
Our industry leading nursing labs are equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and equipment. Our simulated learning environments include 38 electric beds, 10 electrocardiogram (ECG) machines, vital signs monitors, IV trolleys and two life-like simulator mannequins. Cycling could be another cost effective option to get to campus with bike racks available on Nerang Street.
