The Shire of Burdekin is located between Townsville and Bowen and is home to 18,000 residents spread throughout 19 towns and localities. Our Burdekin campus is located in the Shire's second largest town of Home Hill. Our Burdekin campus offers courses designed to meet the needs to the local community. Study areas include early childhood education and care, first aid, hairdressing, and engineering courses specialising in mechanical trades, fitting and turning, boilermaking, and metal fabrication.

Taxi services are available through Burdekin Taxi Service, however there is no public transport available to the Burdekin campus.


If you live nearby, cycling could be another cost effective option to get to class.


We have plenty of free on-site parking available for students at our Burdekin campus.
