Join TAFE Queensland’s Academy of Sport Information Session.
Designed for students and parents, this session explores how TAFE Queensland supports students to begin their sport pathway while still at school. You’ll learn about sport‑focused programs that blend practical, hands‑on training with classroom learning.
The session will provide insight into how programs are delivered, how study fits alongside school commitments, what to expect as a student, and the pathways available into further study or future employment.
You’ll also discover how TAFE Queensland’s applied, industry‑focused training helps turn an interest in sport into real opportunities - whether that’s coaching, working behind the scenes of elite sport, or building a future across the broader sporting and events industries.
For Year 10, 11 and 12 students: Explore our two TAFE at Schools programs and study the Certificate II in Sport Coaching (SIS20321) over six months, or the dual qualification, Certificate II in Sport Coaching / Certificate III in Sport Coaching (SIS20321/SIS30521) over one year.
