Course overview

Kick start your career in process plant operations with this entry-level technical course. Demand for process plant operators in Australia remains steady with up to 10,000 job openings expected over the next five years. Opportunities continue as companies require workers with the technical skills to operate CSG, LNG and hydrocarbons plant and equipment.

In this course you will learn to use and operate production equipment to directly produce particular materials and substances. You will also develop the ability to identify a limited range of problems and solve them using previously recorded solutions. Industry-experienced teachers will provide you with all the one-on-one help you need to succeed.

Complete this course to open up a range of possibilities in hydrocarbons, petrochemical, chemical, and metal/ore as a qualified process plant operator. You will also be able to take your understanding and skills to the next level with further study pathways.
