With mental health problems, stress and anxiety on the rise, there is a high chance that we all have someone at work and in our lives being held back because of negative emotional reactions, ineffective communication and poor decision making.

What we believe can affect how we think, feel and act which in turn can affect the outcomes we get in life.
Emotional Intelligence (EQ) is the ability to identify, use, understand, and manage emotions in an effective and positive way. Critical thinking is the ability to think clearly and rationally to gather relevant information and better understand the logical connection between ideas. We can develop skills in emotional intelligence and critical thinking to have friendly conversations about difficult subjects with people, explore what's more likely to be a better way forward regarding problems that we face, and gain better control over the choices we make in life.
Throughout this course, the facilitator includes individual and group exercises, video playback, instructor led examples and opportunities to apply the principles and frameworks delivered to the current workplace and personal situations that each participant faces.

- safe ways to explore what’s true regarding the claims that people make
- safe ways to explore what’s true regarding the deeply held beliefs of others
- safe ways to manage conflict and set boundaries
