Students who have completed a degree in the Faculty of Arts and Design with at least a grade point average of 5.0 or better (equivalent to a credit average), or students from a three-year degree in a cognate discipline with a relevant major in which they received a grade point average of 5.0 or better.
It is recommended that students have access to a reliable internet connection to access the University of Canberra’s online learning system Canvas, and a computer with up-to-date software, including Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat Reader and Adobe Flash Player. This equipment and software is available for students to use at all TAFE Queensland locations.
As part of UC’s commitment to enhancing your employability, you will have the option of undertaking a Work Integrated Learning project which will ensure you are armed with the right mix of skills and knowledge to develop an impressive portfolio to present to future employers. In the past UC Arts and Design students have connected with industry via organisations including Calvary Hospital, Guide Dogs Australia, the AIS and the National Museum of Australia.
