Shave time off a diploma
If you’ve successfully completed a TAFE at School course through TAFE Queensland and decide to apply for a diploma, you may be eligible for a credit transfer. This means that some of your previous studies may count towards your next course, saving you time and money and allowing you to level up your career sooner.
No or low ATAR? No worries.
If you’re worried about your Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR) score, or aren’t ATAR eligible, don’t stress. Successful completion of your TAFE at School course will qualify you for direct entry into most TAFE Queensland certificate and diploma courses (some exceptions and additional entry requirements apply). And with our diploma-to-degree pathways you can then choose to continue your studies at university, all without an ATAR score.

You may also be able to apply for a TAFE Queensland payment plan or government-funded VET Student Loan which will allow you to pay off your course fees gradually in instalments.
